David joined Drumm Law in 2013. David focuses his practice in franchise and trademark law. David takes pride in providing pragmatic and effective service with his client’s interests and bills in mind.

Prior to joining Drumm Law, David worked for law firms in the St. Louis, Missouri area, representing businesses and individuals in a variety of legal fields including litigation, real estate, bankruptcy and corporate law matters. Before working in private practice David worked on real estate, right of way and pipeline matters for an international petroleum company.

David attended law school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He obtained a BSBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia. David has repeatedly been named a “Legal Eagle” by Franchise Times Magazine based on nominations from clients. In his free time, David enjoys volunteering, spending time with his family, golfing and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

David lives and practices in St. Louis, MO where he once worked as a tour guide for Anheuser-Busch. David’s interest in home brewing and enjoyment of craft beers led him to leave behind his tastes for big beer and help craft brewers.

In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 young children. David prides himself in providing practical real-world legal advice to our brewery clients. David has filed numerous trademarks for breweries and worked on coexistence agreements and trademark enforcement for breweries.

David lives in Missouri and is admitted to practice law only in Missouri and Illinois.
