Our People

Bob joined the Drumm Law team in 2025 and is excited to rejoin the private sector and continue assisting clients with their franchise and general corporate needs.
Immediately prior to joining Drumm Law, Bob worked for the United States Department of Education. He also has extensive past experience working in house at a restaurant franchisor as well as in private practice at both a large national law firm as well as a small firm, where he primarily assisted franchise clients with FDD initial and renewal registrations, concerns regarding state and federal disclosure requirements, and general franchise sales compliance. Additionally, Bob has helped corporate clients in review and negotiation of a variety of types of business agreements (both in the franchise context and not) and assisted clients purchasing and selling business assets through, among other things, due diligence review and drafting required sale and ancillary agreements.
Bob’s varied experience through his professional career, from in-house to private practice and in government, has provided him with a unique perspective to assist clients. While he is one of the few who does actually enjoy getting lost in minutia of detailed agreements, he usually prefers to take a practical approach: What issues are at stake, what do the parties involved want, and what’s the best way to achieve the client’s desired outcome?
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Classics (Classical Languages: Latin concentration) and German from Georgetown University and received his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas.
Bob was born and raised in Texas but now lives in the DMV. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and the District of Columbia. He enjoys classical music, especially opera, and collects stamps. An avid fan of soccer, Bob is a current season ticket holder of the National Women’s Soccer League’s Washington Spirit and supports Arsenal Football Club.
